Jeremy Goldstein

Born in 1973, Jeremy Goldstein attended Cornell University where he pursued Bachelor of Arts, Arts History. Between the years 1995 and 1996, he attended the University of Chicago to do Masters of Arts, Arts History. In 1999, he attained his J.D from the New York University School of Law.

Jeremy Goldstein is a founder and member of Jeremy L Goldstein & Associates LLC which is a leading boutique law firm based in New York. The firm devotes its work to providing legal assistance to:

  • Compensation Committees
  • CEOs
  • Management teams and organizations in executive compensation and corporate governance legal cases.

Before establishing his own company, he was a partner at the law firm of Watch well, Lipton, Rosen, and Katz.

With his high experience in law, he holds a reputation as one of the world’s most leading lawyers. He has also participated in many of the biggest businesses transactions in the recent past, including the procurement of Gold rich by United Technologies and Duke Energy/ Progress Energy Corporation.

Goldstein is the head of the Mergers and Acquisition Subcommittee of the Executive Law’s Section in the U.S.A. Often Jeremy writes and speaks on corporate governance and executive compensation issues.

Jeremy Goldstein is also a leading lawyer for Business and the legal 500. He is also a member of the board of Professional advisory in NYU business and Journal law.

In addition, he is also a member of the Board of Directors of Fountains House since 2008. Fountain House is a non-profit organization that devotes itself to supporting men and women living with mental illnesses. It provides them with shelter, food, education, and employment.

Since it was founded in 2008, Fountain House has supported over 1200 patients annually. This community service program has not only changed many destitute people’s lives but also provided them with new opportunities for better living. Born and raised in New Jersey, He has worked in law for more than 15 years. He now lives with his wife Heather in East Asheville. His wife currently works at Van Winkle firm as an attorney. She also works as an active volunteer.

Jeremy volunteers as the chairperson of Asheville Planning and Zoning Commission and he recently completed his job on the advisory team that was looking into the uses of city-owned land in front of the U.S.A cellular center. He has been an instructor for his children ABYSA and also volunteered for Junior Achievement for WNC.
